Position Overview:

The Content Writer at Ambit Software will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand’s voice and messaging across various platforms. This position involves creating compelling and informative content that resonates with our B2B technology audience. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language, a deep understanding of technology and business concepts, and the ability to adapt writing styles to suit different audiences and purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation & Strategy:
    • Think, ideate, research, write, and edit copy for all marketing and communication initiatives.
    • Develop and produce engaging, high-quality content for Website, including but not limited to online articles, newsletters, white papers, case studies, blog posts, website copy, and more.
    • Understand technologies and business value propositions, and write copy in various styles, including personalized, conversational, formal, and semi-formal.
    • Ideate campaigns and CXO emails, social copy to drive demand for all marketing initiatives.
    • Collaborate with design, digital, search, and other teams to develop compelling copy and content plans.
    • Take ownership of the full yearly copy and content calendar.
  • Research & Ideation:
    • Conduct research on thought-provoking topics and translate that information into captivating and concrete B2B storytelling.
    • Think strategically and brainstorm creative copy and content ideas for various technology practices.
    • Stay updated on best practices in writing for the web, social media trends, web usability, web design, and business/industry trends.
    • Identify trendy topics using various tools.
  • Editing & Proofreading:
    • Eye for detail, proofreading, and verbiage, including a complete command of grammar, diction, syntax, spelling, and punctuation.
    • Review and edit content for clarity, grammar, style, and tone, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Communication & Collaboration:
    • Prepare internal and external communications, including newsletters, press releases, and other vital marketing communications as needed.
    • Work closely with the marketing team, sales, customer success team and other stakeholders to align content with marketing strategies and business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in content writing, preferably in the B2B technology domain.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
    • Excellent understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles.
    • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging content.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
